I'm in the process of recovering from the scarier stuff I was taught in the faith I was raised in. I've been reading a book written by a progressive Anglican archbishop, Desmond Tutu. (May he rest in eternal peace and love!) From books and this channel, I've been learning to drop some scary teachings, and at the same time, grow closer to God and be at peace. I cried along with Karen about her knowing that her little girl was praying for her. I want to send thanks and hugs to Karen for sharing her story. My continuing thanks to you, Mel! I'll be watching part 2 tonight.

Fabulous. I Really can't wait to see part two. I've watched a couple of interviews of Karen Thomas and they were great but when it comes to questions about spirituality I think you are one of the best NDE interviewers on YouTube. At least you always seem to ask people the questions I'd like to.

Patients seeing what is going on in another room/ area, as Karen Thomas reports, with seeing the additional doctor enter the hospital & come to join her surgery, is the greatest proof that NDEs involve consciousness of a person occurring separate from the physical body. Pretty awesome.

the best part is that the "light" doesn't care what religion you are.. or if you have NO religion...
It lets you know you've only been "away".
it shows the interconnection of everyone & everything.
there are myriad other "people, entities, guides, angels, etc" all around you, though they may or may not be "visible"
It is a completely different realm, but only the breadth of saran wrap away - like floating in space, or sitting in a kindergarten classroom.. it/they are already here with us.. all the time.
It answers questions..albeit through one's own perception/experience
now I understand how all these NDE/ astral projection/ OOBEs share common features/images/feelings
when you no longer have a physical body, you still have "mind" and are free to explore
I am no longer afraid of death at all- Id rather not suffer at the end, but death itself isn't scary at all.

I love her so much. Her story is amazing and helps restore my faith in God. I go back and forth with atheism I cant help it I think it's the rational part of the brain. Wow, I had never heard this woman's experience before..it was a joy to hear it..my beloved grandma passed on in 2017, and hearing her speak reminded me of my grandma..I know that everything she was talking about was true, because it resonated so strongly with me..I also know that our loved ones do survive physical death, and I know that my grandma, my sister, and my brother and all of my fuzzy babies are all together in a wonderful and beautiful place and are happy and are waiting for me when it comes my time to cross over into that beautiful place..thank you for uploading this, it really made my ❤️ glad 😊😇
