Let us consider the expression as y and assume x = Pi/18
Then we could write y = (Sin7x +sinx)/sin4x and by simplifying we arrive at y = 2cos (3x)
Now back substituting x value we get y = 2cos(pi/6) = sqr (3)

We could use directly the formula :
sin(a) + sin(b) = 2sin((a+b)/2)cos((a-b)/2)

How about using formula sinx + siny = 2sin((x+y)/2)cos((x-y)/2), so that you can go straight to the final answer?

sin(a+b)=sin a cos b + cos a sin b
sin(a- b)=sin a cos b - cos a sin b
sin(a+b) + sin(a-b) = 2 sin a cos b
a+b= 70
a-b=10
a = 40, b = 30
sin 70 + sin 10 = 2 sin 40 cos 30
(sin 70 + sin 10)/ sin 40 = (2 sin 40 cos 30)/sin 40 = sqrt(3)

Cool! Just for the 10th grader, but I have not yet passed the sine / cosine of the sum, but this does not make it more boring)
I still have a question - what and where do you draw?

It was Easy!😅😅 I made it

Which is 2cos30=√3

When will you upload a functional equation?
I find them to be the most fun to solve

Here in Israel, the identity to factor the numerator - is a basic one. sina+sinb = 2sin((a+b)/2)*cos((a-b)/2)

Would you please tell me the name(s) of the applications you used to produce your vedios? Specially the black board!

Syber, Why do I get the feeling that when you prepare problems, you prepare with degrees, but just to put people to peace, you convert to radians, then again while solving you convert back just so that you get to say "I won't be using the degree symbol"? XD XD

I'd like this way to resolution for simple.

When you use the right trigonometric identity it is easy, but when you do'nt use it then ..it is not easy😁

Don't forget it never the sign of degress up! 😀😉

@SyberMath, you need to abandon your reliance on degrees and adopt the SUPERIOR unit of angle measurement: The Gradian. Divides a circle into 400 units, so a 90° angle = 100 gradians. There was a time when all scientific calculators included a "DRG" button for "Degrees Radians Gradians", even though nobody was using Gradians. There's even a Wikipedia page about it. 😁

That was a good question, I wasn't able to solve it 😁

sin x + sin y = 2sin((x+y)/2)cos((x-y/2))
Using this identity it would be solved in fewer steps.

This question may be solve by Sinx+ Siny=2Sin x+y/2.Cosx-y/2.

This question seems to be easier than always.
