I just want to say, there is an international men's day. The problem is these guys would rather focus on and belittle international women's day then be aware of and celebrate their own day. I've actually had guys tell me "well yeah but no one talks about men's day!", so talk about it then.

Women bust their butts to get recognized for anything but these guys just sit around and wait for it to happen, then get mad at women when it's not just given to them. They project that women are just given praise for existing when that's exactly what they expect for themselves. They complain about all these things men have to go through but never in a constructive way that actually betters the situation, only as a means to try to tear down women and draw attention away from women's issues.

It's amazing how after a long day of working outside of the home, the husband gets to sit down and be taken care of. And after a long day of working in the home, the wife gets...Do more work and take care of yet another person?

My dad worked in the building trades and while he worked with women throughout his career, he has said that the trades are seriously lacking in gender diversity. The reason a lot of women don't have jobs in the building trades has nothing to do with them not wanting to do it or lacking the ability to do it and everything to do with sexism and workplace harassment from men.

In the woman’s defense, she probably knows what she’s getting into if she dates and sleeps with a bad boy. With a “nice” guy, it’s a wildcard. But if you find yourself friendzoned, or her feelings aren’t the same, all you gotta do is walk away. Don’t be a dick about it.

Maybe there'd be more women plumbers and mechanics if there was universal maternity leave in this country. My husband is a mechanic and those jobs are notoriously unsupportive of parents. He couldn't get time off for our children's births or any events in their lives. And we aren't talking about paid leave. I mean he was told he'd be fired if he took more than a week off for our two oldests births. At two different employers. He actually planned to quit for our third and then after she was born he got a new job somewhere else. And he had tools at those jobs he owned so it's complicated to leave.

Women need time off for raising kids so they aren't going to go into industries which are extremely unfriendly to taking time off for caring for kids. Men put these systems in place and then complain how women operate within those systems. It's ridiculous.
