Zero Waste Recipes: Double-Layer Banana Crumb Cake

Tired of making banana bread with your very ripe bananas? Or maybe you're just looking something new. Crumb cake, also called coffee cake, doesn't usually have any coffee in it. It gets the name because of how well the cake goes with a hot cup of Joe.

But this cake is definitely a crowd pleaser... like if the perfect crumb cake and the most delicious banana bread made this tasty double-layer love child. That's where we're at with this recipe. Is it healthy? No. I mean, there are bananas in it, sure. But this isn't zero calorie California. It's zero waste.

Made this today as a birthday cake for my sister. I used real butter. Everyone loved it! I mean, really really loved it! 
Next time, I'm using vegan butter so I can love it too.
