Except when it is painful. Had mine done yesterday and they hit a nerve twice. Worst pain in my life, I nearly came off the table. It was like someone put a taser down there. I’m sure this uncommon but it can happen. Not to mention on the last cauterization I could feel the burning quite a bit. I was covered in sweat by the end and nearly blacked out after I got up, turned white as a ghost and they got very concerned and watched my vitals for 10 minutes before I was able to leave.

"The Needle" they used on me was used to tranq a Clydsdale!!

It wasnt pain free...it was just very very unpleasant. I think the thought was worse.

It hurts a lot if you end up with post-vasectomy pain syndrome, or one of the many other nasty side-effects they never mention like sperm granuloma, scrotal swellings, nerve damage, epididymal ruptures and sperm getting into the bloodstream, where the body's antibodies attack it.

Oh and by the way, there's no cure for any of that, just "management" (dependence on painkillers) or more surgery which may improve things or just make it worse....

Mine hurt like a son of a bitch and never stopped.
2% end in chronic pain
I now take slow release tapentatol, SSRI, s and Gabapentin.
Vasectomy ruined my life.
They can’t fix PVPS and it’s a 1/50 chance.
Dont fall for their lies.
