Man I here ya but it so worth it in the end.
My wife and I also traded rooms back in about late 2014 early 2015. It's not the funnest thing to do but it was fun setting up a new room and a new bedroom and changing room for my TONS OF WORK. Looking forward to seeing the new room.

I can understand how daunting that can be but it sounds like its the right move to make. Hobby room more open to visitors and office/library more secluded and quiet. Wishin ya luck.

Good Luck ! I feel your pain, a couple of months ago I moved my 92 year old Dad in with us and had to turn my wife's office into a bedroom for my dad. I am in the process of a complete renovation of my hobby room so I can incorporate my wife's office on one side and my hobbies on the other. New paint, new floors and I am building a custom hobby bench.

Fun, fun, fun! I've been in my house almost a year and I'm still not done setting up my hobby room. I'd need a week long vacation at this point. Too much work and not enough play makes Johnny a grumpy boy at times! lol
