Lines 1-11 in Old English. Note how the grammar is more archaic than the Wessex Gospels. The suffixes that The Wessex Gospels only use upon the adjectives, Beowulf has upon the Nouns too. Ex.: Ymbsittendra is genetive: at-sitter's. Also, to alliterate properly, sometimes "sk" is still /s/ + /k/.
