These are tourist places. Go walk around the neighborhoods and eat at any of the old places.

Anywhere in Greece you can find perfect food. Just avoid all the ones advertised like the ones here.

Great video! As a local, I’d also add EATalians to the list.

it's a hidden gem that many visitors miss! I actually made a video on my channel about the Best Athens Restaurants too.

You missed out on so many great restaurants. The locals don’t eat at these spots.

Except Tylixto, but their restaurant in Vouliagmeni is so so much better!!!

Πολύ ακριβές επιλογές όταν ο μισθός σου είναι 750-800€. Μόνο το σουβλάκι κάνει 3, 80. Φαντάσου να γευματισεις στην Πλάκα ή στου Μποτρινι.

Sometimes I feel bad for tourists, they get persuaded to go to these tourist traps.

If the name is in English you know it’s some touristy bs

The letter X in greek language is equivalent to H in English. So the way you pronounced is extremely wrong and embarrasing. If you are trying to be a travel/food vlogger, maybe do better research.

Yoghurt belongs to Turks and is a Turkish word, adding "greek" in front of it does not make it Greek. Gyros is a copy of Turkish doner and there was no such food in Greece before the 1920s. And again, dolma-des, loukma-des, baklava belong to Turkish cuisine and are etymologically Turkish words.
