Every "end of the world" climate prediction of the last 50 years hasn't happened, John Kerry predicted in 2000 that both polar icecaps would be gone by 2013 but it didn't happen. There must be a lot of money involved in dire climate predictions or why else would they be making them. And why, whenever climate alarmists make dire predictions it always costs Americans more money or less products?

1. California has ALWAYS been a dry climate that goes into periods of drought lasting 200-400 years at a time.
2. The Santa Ana wind is a westerly down slope Katabatic wind that brings dry hot air from the interior desert region on the other side of its mountainous region.
This wind has been constant for almost 8000 years since the Younger-Dryus cooling event.
3. This isn't a carbon dioxide effect.
It never has been.
It's the Earth's orbital shape, orbital tilt, the spin of Earth, current techtonic plate placement, and solar output.
4. Carbon dioxide reacts to infrared radiation striking the surface, which excites co2 molecules, creates friction, and thus creates the heat that is temporarily trapped in the lower troposphere.
It eventually escapes back into space.
If it continued to trap the radiation, never allowing it to escape, Earth would, in theory, continue to heat up. But that never happens.
If it did, life never would've evolved in the first place.
5. The hottest periods of geologic time have always been the most productive periods in geologic history.
A warm Earth promotes species radiation in which life expands its species diversity.
The global co2 level has been as high as 7000 PPM.
The global temperature average has been as high as 140°Fahrenheit.
Life flourished in that climate.
Extinctions occur in glacial periods because life dies in cold climates.
Earth is in the Pleistocene glaciation right now.
We're in a warming period right now called the Holocene interglacial.
It is coming to an end.
Within 50-60, 000 years, Earth will cool into the next glacial maximum.
70%-80% of current species will die off into the next extinction.
There is also the chance of a snowball Earth occurring.
