Hey, Canada... Remember that the Titanic was "unsinkable".

I would just play Gordon Lightfoot songs on the ship PA when underway….the ocean will realize it’s a Canadian vessel and leave it alone.. even the ocean liked Gord..

So...if my ship is about to sink...I'm gonna hoist up the Canadian flag!

No way.. impossible . I would never had suspected that.. obviously you didn’t catch my humor..
if i got on a large sea going vessel and heard his voice singing, i would very quickly get off the boat.

The oceanic waves are the toughest hurdles of marine exposures the only biggest cruz ship is safest on rough seas, the warship have multiple duties ammunition to 🆘 crews advancement s.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but the Canadian Navy has not had a new ship in 25 years those ships are called frigates and most of them were built in the city of St John in the late 80s and early 90s you might want to check your facts.

Olny reason why the Royal Canadian Navy ships don’t sink is they don’t have many so they stay in port all the time, and don’t test Mother Nature cause if you look back on history every ship that was said to be unsinkable was sunk !

I was friends for several years with a Canadian Snowbird down here in Florida and I said that I've known you for years now but I do not know what you did for a living and he responded I was a fighter pilot. I looked at him and he said you look shocked that I was a fighter pilot and I said no I'm shocked that Canada has an Air Force . I was only breaking his stones but they may have fighter jets but they have no way to move them around other than in the air. Canada does not have even one aircraft carrier

Any navy ship without any anti hypersonic missiles is just a police boat patrolling the ocean protecting the commercial boats including any boats sailing in the ocean or high seas from any unwanted piracy or illegal activities. They are not war ships as such. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Bull shit video. Don't make claims that don't have any facts to back them up.

Despite technology and design of ships, not 1 ship in history has been "unsinkable".

Also water/weather conditions do apply. The ships don't go out into very treacherous conditions, they will avoid areas that have terrible sea conditions.
In the last 30 years more info has risen up about "rogue waves" (100 ft or more), which are very much unpredictable. Most shipping lines avoid areas of rogue waves, especially around South America and South Africa.

Then there is the fact that sailing through hurricane winds (like those American fleets in WW2- which almost destroyed those fleets), is not good for any structure of any boat, and the more you sail through big storms the more damage happens to those boats. The best practice is to sail around storms, not through storms.
So sailing though big storms is the act of a very stupid ship's Captain....Sea state 6 (waves 20 ft high) can be manageable; but its very very tough on a ship and crew to do so.
Sailing though a storm, :
90% of the crew will get seasick to various degrees with 10-15% being incapacitated. Once someone starts puking, others will be shortly behind. Its probally the smell that makes people puke the most.
Walking on bulkheads (walls) is not fun.
Sleeping in your bunk and getting tossed every 2-3 minutes mean you don't get any sleep. You have to tie yourself in your bunk, if you don't want to get ejected from your bunk onto the deck....
Hearing the bulkheads and hull creak, groan and shudder are not good signs of the bashing your hull is taking.

When the prop comes out of the water, its very hard on the machinery.
Believe it or not gravity is used on the design of engines, as lubication oil needs to fall down into a sump. Interruption of a lubrication oil pump could cause shut down of engines, and thus the ship is at the whim of the ocean, waves and wind.
High sea states is like being on a roller coaster for hours on end....
