Wait what was that bean thing where you poured them into the empty pie shell (on top of a sheet of parchment paper)? Was that just to weigh down the pie crust or something? Does it go into the fridge like that? The oven? How long do they stay there? Lol y’all broke my brain, NYT Cooking! WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!?! 😹😹😹

Wtf NYT???? Don’t pander to the Tasty generation. This is utter bullshit. I expect more from you. You either make me pay for actual recipes created and demonstrated by actual people (not just hands over blenders) or you make me settle for “make a pie crust, bake it and fill it with filling?” Ooh. If only I had figured that part out on my own. Maybe you should hire me. See I already know how to cook and bake and I’m actually writing my own cookbook. Yet I still come to NYT expecting to find things I don’t already know. Since I’ve surpassed that please put me on staff. I could hang with Melissa Clark. Because if you put up another one of these I’m cancelling EVERY subscription.
