Putting is pretty simple. Know your Distance, Examine Green (What are the breaks, and is it a downhill or Uphill Putt) when you are 15 Feet out or Further goal should be to get putt inside length of your putter for easy 2nd putt. With short putts 6 feet or shorter putt with confidence. Hit the ball hard enough to take out some of the break.. (Easier said than done) Always try to 2 putt or less. 3 Putt means you didn't execute 1st putt correctly leaving a more challenging 2nd putt. Also test putters out at a PGA Super Store or Retail shop like that.. You will be surprise at how different putters react to your swing. Mallets are typically better for Higher Handicap players and Putters like in this Video are designed more for your Lower Handicap Golfers because allignment is harder to read and typically have less distant control.

There is a short par 5 at my course and it’s almost impossible to 2 putt from most areas on green. So hitting green in 2 usually results in a 5. If I play Driver, 9i, 54W to front I have an easy 1 or 2 putt and never take 6, 7, 8, 9 if I get wet hitting a 230yd 3W into the green.

Love your videos. I am a decent long putter, where I struggle is the 3 to 6 footers especially with a little break. I tend to misread the break and speed on the short ones usually overreading the break with too much speed.

As always, great advice. But there are days, where "it" will just not work .. despite a nice warm-up putting practice where everything seems good. Happened to me in a tournament yesterday. All more or less OK, except for the putting, where even several short putts just did not make it in, despite getting close to the flag with the approach or a long putt.
