I always shampoo 2x I’ve done this my entire life and wasn’t quite sure why usually because the first cleanse doesn’t suds up because of oils but the 2nd one sure does! Good to know I haven’t been doing it completely wrong lol

I hate when I go to the salon and the nape of my neck isn't washed. I hate the fact that I have to tell them too 😵‍💫

Dr Dray said that you can use your shampoos as a scalp mask and leave it on your scalp for a few minutes then rinse out and it will give a deep cleanse and help save on shampoo. ❤

on a side note, if you wash your hair every single day, then it is less likely for you to double cleanse your hair.

The best advice I got told was to alternate shampoo's every few washes depending on hair needs! For me I will alternate a psoriasis shampoo one wash and then a very nourishing shampoo the next wash. Made a huge difference to my hair and scalp health!

I rinse my hair with cool water, and it takes the studs out well. I have noticed less hair loss too.

Basically treat your scalp like you would your facial/body skin. It depends on the products you use on your hair. Tip 1: Use warm vs. hot water (it strips moisture & dries scalp/hair)
Tip 2: if oily hair to dry scalp after in the shower a bit & allowing skin/scalp to moisten/loosen Use (warm olive oil once a week or good quality hair moisturizer all over scalp) it takes oil to remove oil sebum build up which suffocates hair follicle (the live part of the hair under the skin dead skin blocks that pore) massage scalp (this stimulates blood flow and loosens off dead skin and build up)... aka like a double cleanse on the face.
3. Rinse then wash scalp then quick 2nd wash ... follow with a good moisturizer, cold rinse to close the hair follicle.. use a leave in protectant /keratin to sealer on hair not scalp) on cool setting blow dry (wet hair is more fragile)
If scalp is dry can use specific scalp serum to keep it moist.

Hi Beauty within, these tips was an eye opener for me. I realise that’s it’s often most overlooked areas. I have a request if you could do test on my kitsch shampoo bars ? Is it worth the hype? Thank you .. many wish and thanks 🙏 frm Aus

I have oily scalp and I sweat a lot so I got no choice to double wash. It's also depend on which brand you are using. For example, Kundal does really dried my hair on the 2nd wash. 🙃 so I prefer cleanse it once with kundal. Currently trying Miss En... its sooo good! Especially the hair mask/treatment (the orange one) 😍🥰 smells like jasmine

doctors don't recommend this technique of bending down and washing our hair as it may cause spondylitis.
