As a person with curly hair, I see nothing wrong with this. My hair is a lot more curly than hers and I would never be able to untangle my hair without it being wet and with a ton of conditioner. Just do what works for your hair.

For everyone saying conditioner on the scalp is bad, I tried it today as a co-wash because I’m trying to wash my hair less often so it’ll be healthier and isn’t getting stripped of its natural oils. I have naturally oily roots/scalp (and wavy hair) but when I tried this today it worked—and my hair looked better than it does when I use shampoo. It didn’t weigh my hair down, my hair was extra soft, my waves more prominent, and it wasn’t oily anymore but it wasn’t stripping of oils that I still need for healthy hair. I don’t know about other people, and I’m not educated on other hair types, but it worked for me (and I’m planning to use a clarifying treatment when needed to make sure I don’t get buildup)

its called co washing and can be done in between washdays.. but BELIEVE ME you need shampoo or at least bicarbonate in water to cleanse the the scalp

Y’all all saying this, but realize she has thick wavy hair? The easiest time to brush it is in the shower, and depending on the hair type using the conditioner like that IS FINE. I do it, and my hair is literally beautiful and healthy. So calm down, y’all can’t tell people on the internet what their hair type is or what you do is right or wrong of you truly don’t know..like y’all probably have straight hair and know NOTHING about curly or wavy hair. So kindly be quiet and stop telling people with different hair types improper ways to take care of their hair ❤
