One slight doubt about the US attitude towards this development of new or existing contracts with Russia. A balance should be implied, at least on the surface and both powers should be made aware of their respective jurisdiction and India's own sovereignty. But as of now, the US establishment might be looking forward to an era after Trump with his impeachment looming over the horizon.

India try to develop own 5th Gen fighter plane and will buy 126 plane. Although invest in Su57. What will be the out put of two overlapping project. India may include its own 5th Gen aircraft project with FGFA project.Own project need time but FGFA will be completed earlier, after India might able to develop 6th Gen by its own or Ask Russia upgrade FGFA to 6 th Gen, recently Russia said they use FGFA outcome in 6th Gen aircrafts.
