Authy was hacked is an good clickworthy title, but the hackers accessed only personal info and could not access the creditentials, authentication tokens or api keys. Since they are encrypted. Read the status update for more info.

I had setup google authenticator and then found out about Authy like a day later. I was considering should I switch to Authy's due to easier backup then a week later this hack happens. I am glad I stuck with Google's. I backup my codes somewhere physically.

if you are not securing your TOTP in a Yubikey wth are you doing with your life? air gapped HWW is always better and more secure than a software app, combined with biometrics.
