it's such a shame that I gave up web development years ago, although I still use vs code for Unity and it's the best. You've got the tools you never knew existed and needed.

You can also just add your source code in any browser Dev tools and you can directly save changes, this is much intuitive I must say

I think it should create a copy of the file, or a "diff" file or just a "diff" view instead of changing the actual file directly

The latest update is goated. I just found out. I can do everything coding in vscode no more switching between chrome and vscode or having much trouble debugging or the quite lame and lacking inbuilt console in VSCode

for improvement, you can mark the changes in the code so that we can get to know where and what we changed cause just in case if we want to revert some of the changes so that we can do it easily.
