My car was paid off fully in November 2022! Woohoo! I have been saving the money that I usually would spend on the car payment, and directing that to a savings account. Ally bank with a 3% interest rate return. It’s nice to no longer have a car payment. The car is a 2016 Corolla. I also have a second fully paid for car, a 2008 Lexus IS250. Beautiful car. I shall continue to invest the extra money and focus on growth.

I had no idea you could do that. Maaaan, I wish I woulda looked this video up when it happened. Now it’s been more than a year ago since I paid it off. Too late, oh well. Although, I do remember pulling some shady stuff, by cancelling the insurance that the dealer picked a month after purchase and going with my own insurance for liability. I forgot how I did it, since they said I had to have full coverage, but I know for sure that I’ve had liability insurance for 85% of the time that I’ve had my car. I’ve had it for at least 60 months now. So there may be a chance that I did not pay too much for gap, but money is money.

Hi 😁 I hope you can answer this question, I called my Lender & asked if I purchased GAP insurance and they told me that Initially there was but was cancelled Nov 2017, does that mean I’m not eligible for the Gap refund?
