Welcome to Africa info Hub. In this video we are going to talk about 10 Interesting facts you did not know about Equatorial Guinea. Equatorial Guinea is a country located on the west coast of Africa. This country, on the other hand, was originally known as Spanish Guinea. After a long struggle, they were ultimately able to achieve independence from colonization in 1968.

It goes without saying that Spanish is the primary language spoken in the country. They do, however, communicate in French and Portuguese. Those three languages are also considered to be the official languages of the country. There are only a few African countries where Spanish is an official language, and this is one of them. Aside from that, it was given its name because of its proximity to both the Gulf of Guinea and the Equator. It's straightforward enough to understand.

The fact that Equatorial Guinea is a member of the United Nations, despite it being the world's smallest country, is another noteworthy fact about the country. Fortunately, there are more important facts about this country that you would like to learn about.
