It's so distracting to use climate controls in an infotainment screen, so I may have to pull over to a safe spot.

This is not user friendly, and very dangerous when driving at high speeds, fiddling around with the screen to change temperate. I hope BMW realise the need for manual button and change this on future models.

Great videos. Just got a 23 m240i. Still trying to figure how to get the updates to work. But these really help! And because of these I was able to do the app remote start which was cool.

Not a chance I'd buy a car without hard buttons for climate control. This is insane.

Hi. I’ll receive my new i4 this month, last weeks I’m seeing a lot of videos, and today I found yours, that show me what I want to see on climate control, on the top the on/off A/C because in others videos I just saw on/off MAX A/C and on/off SYNC and in yours appear the 3 options. Because in all cars we have to have air/fan without A/C or with A/C turn On. And I was worry about that some videos of iDrive8 I couldn’t found. Do you know and explaination why? Thank you and awesome video by the way. Cheers.

Thanks for the video! I own 2023 7-series with similar climate control. It has a SYNC issue where it basically turns itself off every time you stop the engine and leave the car. The rear seats are going back to 72 degrees when you return to the vehicle no matter what the front is set to. So every time you enter the car you have to remember to activate SYNC mode, otherwise the rear is going to blow at 72. I wonder if this is a known bug. Thanks!

WTF why do they have to design something complicated

IMHO, I don't mind it being on the touch screen as much as the UI, the UI itself is confusing. I had to google the video to see how to manually adjust the flow below and above. Having said that, I would still want physical buttons for temp change and airflow change, the rest can be on the screen

Every other company should learn from the new design from Lexus, everything digital BUT STILL ROUND BUTTONS FOR THE CLIMATED CONTROL

Horrible and disappointing. It is a touch screen, and they still design the settings (Temperature and airflow adjustments ) like physical buttons. It's like the UI/UX designers are from the 70s. Take some notes from Mercedes or Tesla. Especially for the air direction adjustment: If I want the air to blow from top and bottom, I have to circulate through the entire combination to get to that combination... I should be able to click head and feet to turn that direction on or off.

Why on earth???? What kind of design mockery are you doing to the design world? I am done with BMW.
