How to use your Climate Control – BMW How-To

What's the feature or purpose for button on the left side of hazard button?

When I sit with the climate on at 18 degrees at idle in a parking lot, the engine shakes. Why?

Two things:

1- Why do I still have a temperature/thermostat setting for just the fan? (No A/C)

2- In all other Climate Control systems I've ever used, the "Auto" setting automatically regulates the fan speed so it reaches the desired temperature in a timely manner and then reduces it once the temperature has been reached. In a BMW, this is not the case. I constantly have to fiddle with the fan speed because It's either not blowing enough cold air to cool the cabin or blowing too much cold air after it has already been cooled. I've been driving this car for a while now and don't believe that the fan speed is being adjusted at all while on "Auto".
Is this a quirk or a feature?

Very ugly interior, and climate from Renault laguna.
This is dumbest place when you can put climate controls.
And new models are ugly.
Designer must be fired.
