How to turn the climate control in your BMW on or off – BMW How-To

In this video, BMW will show you how to turn your climate control on or off.
In models with applicable equipment, please press the ""MENU A/C"" button. Press ""Climate comfort"", ""Heating/ventilation"" and check or uncheck the box.

Before this generation of BMW’s there used to be a nice and simple A/C ON/OFF button witch was very convenient. Now it’s just too many steps to just turn it on and off. Not everybody leaves it on all the time.

I have a m340i g20, easiest way is to use voice control, say ACTIVATE AC or DEACTIVATE AC.

I came here to see if anyone is having an issue with a severe delay with heat.

2019 X2. I could be on the highway for 30 minutes with it set at 72, get a chill, set it to 80 and it would take 10 minutes for the fan to kick on.

I had a 2014 X1. Never had an issue. This is the first car that won't blow heat when I call for it.

This time of year it's hot in the car during they day and cold at night. So I have to go through 3 levels of menus to turn the AC on or off. And if the AC is off does that mean the heat is on? The manual talks about heating sets, windows and steering wheel, but nothing about simply turning on the heat. WTF

My F series seems not to have this option, and I do not see it in Climate on Idrive menus, though my guess is that it exists somewhere... Does anyone know?

If you need to watch a video just to know how to tuen the AC off in your new car, which means the system is over engineered, over complicated and too many steps just for a simple thing, I don’t get it. Recently my auntie got a BMW X3, and wants me to test drive it, I just hate that AC thing and BMW really impressed me on that, peace

who can help me how to turn that aircon off on engine start bmw 328 i ...every time i start the car aircon comes along and idont want that on engine starts...i try to memorise the key fob in profile but somhave always comes back... any one?

This is crazy how I needed this to turn on my heater like is 2024 bmw get on it or cars come with a ac on/off what I don’t get is that ya did it the right way on my rolls Royce but my son car has this bs set up bmw let’s do better

Why did you get rid of the heater and cooler bar? Now how are people who have no idea what technology is are going to be so confused.

HELP.... any one knows the problem?:.... I have an 2011 BMW 535i GT... (with 21, 000 miles) that no blowing air the driver side., no cold or hot air....blowing the bottom ( i feel on my foot) ... left side all the vents blowing normal. It has climate control, when I Max the air flow, (right side) after I turn off the left side, I hear the motor running.

Does this have climate control when car is off? Similar to Tesla's climate control
