I started using corn starch toothbrushes. I made the switch to bamboo then tried a corn starch one. Love it!! Every little bit helps our planet 🌎❤️

I use reusable filters for my Keurig coffee maker. I've used them since I received our Keurig 5 years ago.

They also have reuseable coffee filters for the Keurig, I have one. I got it at the Dollar Tree. I also have a silicone pad with tiny bristles in my shower to clean my face and I wash afterwards. These are great idea. Thank you for sharing.

TFS Liz 🤗
I've always been a recycling advocate, learning from my grandfather that had to made do with what he had. I started a recycling program at my workplace in 2008. I still recycle but there's always room for improvement 😁

I LOVE all of these tips! I'm currently recycling our cardboard boxes, plastics, magazines, newspapers, etc! I also use cloth napkins, but I need to buy more colors, as I only have fall ones! I never thought about the plastic wrap and how wasteful and harmful it is to our environment! I'm definitely going to look into some of these products like the bamboo paper towels, cloth napkins, mesh bags and wraps!! TFS!!

This was a great video. I was just asking myself how to cut down on our waste. One thing I use for lunches instead of snack bags is the safe snack containers lunch box size. They are great for chips as well as fruit, etc. The ones I got have a reusable freezer disc that fits in top of lid if you are sending something that has to stay cold..

We compost (even in Winter) all food scraps, coffee grounds, newspaper bits, egg shells etc. I have a bin with a lid for this, end of the week it goes outside in the compost bin. Leftover coffee can be made into cubes so drinks are not diluted. Reserve a ice cube tray for this purpose. Make iced coffee or add the coffee to brownie/chocolate cake instead of water. Delicious!

We've also cut down on our disposable product use. I'm so excited to see you use those beeswax wraps & cloth napkins! Stainless steel and silicone straws are great! We also use good old fashioned hankies & bandanas for our noses. We do have disposable tissues for guests. Perhaps consider a French Press or Percolator. Love love love the range in your content!

I stopped using paper napkins in the 90s as a way to cut the grocery budget. Never gone back. You can find cloth napkins thrifting too.
I also don’t use paper towels as much except for pet messes.

Hello Liz hope you are doing well. Great tips, I use the reusable tote bags for groceries. Big Tx hugs from South Tx .

We purchased some very heavy duty totes from our Kroger store. We have 5 of them and use them wherever we go shopping. They have a fold down heavy duty bottom inside and each of these totes will hold as much as 4 regular plastic bags. We live in the Atlanta suburbs and don't have any restrictions as far as bags go, but we just found them more serviceable than the plastic bags which sometimes break. 😊

I use a "baby" washcloth to wash my makeup off. They wash well and are very gentle for your face.
