I came here from Eric Clapton (who's a yucky person but a great musician) talking about finding Mk. gee & loving how he's doing guitar different. He's also a big Prince fan and said Prince did the same thing, played guitar in a new, refreshing, exciting way. So it's not so unexpected that there are clear references/similarities to Prince's sound/vibe in Mk. gee's music. Keeping that great music alive but making it your own, too.
