After having heard the album vs. live mixes, you'd be very wise to keep working with Mike Haldeman as a sound engineer. These live mixes are on another level compared to the other recordings, and he seems to have a feel for where you are coming from with your music... that may be a rare partnership, someone who can invent the sound, and someone who can bring it to life.

It's like when he writes the songs, he hears it in his head, with the reverb, distortion, and delay "already there", so he intentionally leaves "room" for the efx to do what they do, on their own, filling in gaps between notes and chord changes, with trippy ass ambience...very interesting stuff...between his own stuff, and his production work on Dijon's "absolutely" album (which oozes with the same aesthetic) I think this guy is gonna be a real game changer...one of the most musically innovative artists I've heard out there currently.

Still chasing that first breath/experience of hearing Jasmine/Jai Paul for the first time. I feel it with here, but It feels easier to listen to Dream Police over n over while “pretending” it’s me first time hearing it. Does anyone else do this?
