I’m not famous but my mom does the same type of stuff. You can’t tell her anything because she doesn’t respect your privacy and blabs it all over.

I love how honest he was about it. Many celebrities stop speaking to siblings/parents because of the same thing he said, selling stories, photos, info to the press. Accepting book deals, etc. Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Oprah, Mariah to name a few. Wish Mariah would come on, her childhood and family is crazy off the rails to where she now calls her siblings, ex sister, ex brother and her mother by her name because of similar betrayals and all the childhood trauma .

In 2008 my dad and I stopped talking to each other I tried to talk to him three years ago but he had a massive stroke and has never been the same and just last Wednesday he passed away without me and him reconciling our differences and making peace I am totally distraught over this don't do what I did don't wait that long you might not get a second chance

I think it was his wife that helped him find balance the most ... she’s an amazing mother and very nice to her mom in law

It was COMPLETELY her fault. Its good to reconcile and forgive, but be real about what happened.

So nice to hear that FORGIVENESS brought about a ‘new’ relationship with his Mom! Too many (especially!) children (grown up) turn their backs on their parents (or one of them) until its too late to ‘go back’ - simply because that parent has died!

BITTERNESS, especially against a parent, can poison your life to the point that you don’t recognize yourself anymore!
