So in today's video we'll take a closer look at all the things you need to know to make the right decision for your needs and budget.

We'll look at the different types of pedals such as load cell, potentiometer and hall effect sensors, we'll talk about adjustability, pedal feel, ecosystems and much more.

Absolutely brilliant review. A must view for all Sim racers. I’ve been Sim racing for six years and everything in this video is worthwhile! It’s fully packed. Listen closely or you’ll miss something!

As a total newbie looking to get into sim racing, I'm stunned by how respectful and supportive the sim racing community appears to be overall. A far cry from the toxicity I'm used to seeing in other video game genres, particularly shooters.

I love that amongst all the sim gear there's just a random turbocharger sitting in the background :)

If you play with a desk and chair, there is a very cheap and easy solution when upgrading pedals. Mount the pedals to a piece of plywood, then cut holes that the wheels/legs of the chair can fit into. The downside is that you have to get it just right because you won't be able to move forward or back, but I did it and it works really well.

I love the channel as a new SIM racer. I can watch all videos @ 1.25x for perfect learning pace!

I find it quite interesting how some sims still have a 60hz physics simulation but our inputs have such extreme detail that one can, technically, give a millionth more or less throttle.

Hahaha! Loved the USB sound!! It's the small things that make a video that much more enjoyable.

I like your approach to reviews of equipment, and to this series. You always know the right questions to ask and answer to find out what equipment is best for an individual. Find a lot of other sim racing equipment videos get carried about talking about small details that aren't really important to most people.

New subscriber here and this channel is exactly what I need. Extremely informative and thorough. Keep up the good work bro.

This was hugely helpful. I was focusing on the wheel with no thought about the pedals

Will, this video finally convinced me to buy some Fanatec clubsport v3’s which I’ve been wanting for about a year now. Used your affiliate link as well, thanks for making this video!

Great insight, thanks for the much needed info for a potential newbie. Last time I played a wheel driven game was F1 2000. A lap mounted GT FFBACK wheel with duct taped pedal set to the carpet. Had a blast! Now since the lockdown I'm looking at Fanatec Etc Ect. Your videos have set me on the right direction, great work

So many good points that my experience with Logitech, and briefly, Fanatec pedals do agree with!
Also may no one else copy me and try using anything like Fanatec CSL Elite LC pedals or above without a mounting solution, it doesn’t work very well... 😅

Really loving my VNM Lite pedals .. quite a phenomenal upgrade from the low end Fanatec I had before. They don't look as stunning as some higher end offerings, but they perform just as well as most of the best, from what I've heard.

Thanks for the info but the truest thing said was that sim racing can be a money pit! If starting off don’t go crazy thinking more expensive gear is gonna make you fast - pick a sim and practice. Ive tried some expensive gear but use $199 Thrustmaster TX base and old fanatec clubsport load cell pedals and do fine cause feels right to me - and also I just have a desk :)

Thanks for the detailed analysis. Looking to upgrade my pedals and I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the options. I don’t want to compromise too much on the brake since it’s the MOST important. I know everyone has their own preferences but this video helps a lot so thanks again!!!
