James teaches us that when we pray in faith for the sick to be healed, we can expect that they will be healed (James 5:15). But what if they aren't?

My little girl suffered a horrible death for years, the disease assaulted her and I had to watch - helpless as she suffered. No Doctor could offer hope, no drug stopped her pain. She would say she was sorry when she cried in pain and I cried with her. She was just a child, an innocent little child. I prayed so hard. I prayed all the time. And she died in my arms. 21 months ago and I've cried a river of tears feeling certain that some sin of mine caused my little girl to suffer as she did. I've believed that I just didn't pray hard enough when I prayed all the time. But those last hours as she lay in my arms dying - my husband and I had never witnessed such suffering in this life, we prayed for peace. We prayed for our only little girl that we adore to die and not hurt as she was. Her suffering was THAT awful and had gone on without letting up for days and days and days. We had to come home without her. We've had to carry on without her. We are haunted by her crying in pain and the look on her face in that pain that chases away the good memories of her and us as a family. I've searched the internet looking for an answer as to why my child wasn't healed - and this morning I fell upon your video. And I thank you. The guilt I carry is like none other. I don't know why this happened to us. I only know that my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior needs to strength - not be hurt by my child's death - because my child is in heaven where I want to be. I miss my child so much. I did pray for her so hard. I'd go outside at night and look up at the heavens and I'd ask God to heal her and if that wasn't possible, to allow her and I to grow old together. I prayed in the shower. I prayed while I cooked dinner. I prayed in the car. I prayed with my hands on her. I had everyone I knew praying for her. And she died. I'd been raised to believe that if you have faith, if you ask God to heal you, then you would be healed. Amy wasn't healed. But she was saved. Thank you for this message. I will be watching more of your videos.

WoW!!!
You just answered
Why does God permit illness and not heal at times? It’s a question I get sometimes when I share my love for Yeshúa and I didn’t know how to answered.
Thank you for this sincere and to the point explanation. God bless you and your family.

Can you please make a video addressing healing when it comes to people 'not honoring' the Levitical diet....when people get sick because they don't obey God's dietary laws yet pray tirelessly for healing.

I appreciate you approaching this sensitive issue. We are to trust our Father's Will in all circumstances, even in those we don't understand. That being said, I am not in agreement with you taking the epistle of James and trying to make it something else. The Bible is strong enough to defend itself with no adjustments by us and our Father is faithful to every word that is written. I do believe that the ability to heal the sick and perform signs and wonders are still gifts available to us now. Why? Because our Saviour said we would do what He did and greater. To imply that we should not continue to hold that expectation now even in a fallen world would make it seem that we cannot fully trust our Father in what He has promised. If we are waiting for a utopia where sickness is no more, what are we to heal?

well said brother - I was waiting for you to bring up 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? (KJV)

I have a question what about the Great Commission in which our Messiah said we will be able to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover according to Mark 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

You really go out of your way to prove that you do not know what you are talking about.
