In this week's episode, #129, I will begin reading from Celtic Wonder Tales, written in 1910 by Ella Young. Young (1867-1956) was an Irish poet, political activist and mystic. She was born in County Antrim and grew up in Dublin, here she attended the Royal University. She was acquainted with George William Russell (A.E.) and became friends with Maud Gonne, who illustrated 'Celtic Wonder Tales'. The stories are an imaginative retelling of ancient Irish myths and are wonderfully evocative.

(Sad to see such debasing of Ella's works, but that is what this era has brought us.)
