Mine is a very quiet boy too and very shy towards strangers. He only meows when he needs something from me. And when he gets it he's like "alright peasant see you later"

He's SO darling. I have a siamese cat too and when I first got him he never meowed but he has become very chatty recently. I feel like they learn that you like it and therefore become more chatty.
