My first Siamese as an adult was a rescue from a bad breeder. She was feral after being locked in the laundry room for like five years.
That Siamese taught me a lot and saved me from a lot.
Her passing was enough for my system. My body's defense was down. My husband and I agree that was when my body allowed my son to be here. 11 or so years later I adopted a rescue from a small shelter. Had her a week and I discovered at the same time the vet did she was seven months old. Not a year and a half.
First kitten I have had in my adult life.
This diva has befriended all three of my other rescues.
To watch her explore and do things. Just awesome.

Straight to the point I LOVE IT LMAO 😁🤣. I was thinking about getting one but from what I gather they need 100% attention and if you can get another cat with them is great and if not they can get depressed of you don't show them enough love and attention.
