Chicken Spaghetti | Family Favorites Series: Episode 7

On this week I cook a Chicken Spaghetti dish from Bonita Brunner! As a fan of chicken and spaghetti I was very excited about this one and so was our whole crew! We all really enjoyed this recipe and I hope yall do too!

Chicken Spaghetti | Bonita Brunner:

Ingredients:
2-3 large boneless chicken breasts
1 can tomatoes
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 lb. Chedddar cheese, grated
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ - 1 tsp. chili powder
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 lb. Spaghetti noodles

Directions:
1) Boil the chicken.
2) Shred or dice the chicken after it cools.
3) Cook spaghetti noodles in the Chicken broth and drain.
4) Sauté peppers, onions and celery in large skillet.
5)Add the soups, tomatoes, spices and chicken together, mix them up and let them simmer on the stove for about 20 minutes.
6)Mix the sauce, noodles and cheese together in a large casserole dish.
7) Enjoy!

I am pretty sure most folks around here have their own version of this delicious recipe, but this one does sound good. I have found that roasting the chicken (I always use thighs instead of breasts) gives it a much better flavor. Try subbing flour tortillas cut or torn into bite size pieces for the spaghetti. Yum.

We tried this spaghetti dish Tuesday night. It is every bit as good as it looked on your video. There was enough for me an Ron for supper, and lunch, and dinner Weds. I might try occurring it in half the next time.😉

Looks great. Almost like my receipe. I use green & yellow bell pepper, and onion. No celery. I bake in oven . yummmm

My sister makes a spicy version of this, with rotel tomatoes and jalapenos.. it's SO good. we eat it with tortilla chips and sour cream.
