I grew up in Reno ... near Marietta. Went to Marietta High School and graduated in 1962.

Thank you! From someone that can trace my family back to the actual settlers of Marietta--I absolutly loved the video. I wish there were more on Marietta's beautiful history.

I was born in Marietta, but raised in Caldwell and Cambridge (my parents and I are from Caldwell), but I did live in Marietta for several years, and my dad worked for Washington County Job & Family Services. I lived at the Betsey Mills, took classes at WSCC, and was involved with the Mid-Ohio Valley Players, which is where I met my husband. Around the time we were married, I moved out of the Betsey Mills and to the trailer park that used to be in the back of the Washington County Fairgrounds, but the 2004 flood didn't help, so my husband and I bought a house with the money from FEMA, as well as other sources. In 2009, however, circumstances forced us to move to Caldwell.
