Visited the Sternwheel Festival last weekend, and it was wonderful!Just LOVE the Lafayette Hotel!!We met J.D. Williamson who sketched my husband, and I..We sat and listened to the best music, and to be honest--we needed to sit. My hubby, and I have stressful jobs, and it slowed our pace down. My parents suggested we go to Marietta, and now I know for sure we will be back!So much history, and everyone we talked to was friendly..We walked across the bridge to eat the "best fettucini ever", and the greatest antique shops ..just everything was so great! The best ending to a great weekend was the fireworks, too. Just super!
