2024 listening to 1979. We are so much poorer musically now than in 1979. Talent has pretty much dried up, buried under hype, over-produced complaining and bragging is all it amounts to. All hidden behind autotune and technology so thick you can choke a whale with it. At least we have the Sleaford Mods. The Flying Lizards were well beyond their time...

I ended up buying this album shortly after it was released. I'm not sure why thinking back. But it has been a favorite of mine still to this day. Just too much fun.

someone with producer talent should mash up the Lizards with early Oingo Boingo. I feel confident it would work well.
