As an American, this interview strikes me as about as eccentrically "English" as it gets. All that dry humor (whether intended or not). Awesome.

She is AWESOME. An innovator. The 'other bloke'...GOLD!

The most interesting thing in my opinion is that someone like her would never have joined a pop group at any other time apart from the mid/late 1970s. Not before then, and not since then. That's why that period was so interesting from a musical point of view, and from lots of other points of view as well.

I still love her. How honest is this? I couldn't sing.

"the other bloke" has a certain ring of nastiness

"But who REALLY suggested 'Money?'" I would have slapped him at some point,

The fox fur hat is easily explained. She is clearly posh. When her posh friends heard that she was going to school in Felix they all said " Felix... Wear the fockshat?

Neither was he tall nor good-looking....priceless

Her lack of reaction to Felix's self-deprecating "Less of a saint" is so hilariously precious.

When she sings, her voice sounds German.

So pleased to see she is as eccentric as I had always imagined. Lovely stuff.

Fascinating to hear such bitterness about David Cunningham - not necessarily a criticism, just interesting to hear after so many years.

she was such a beauty when she was young on top of the pops (1979)

Nice interview Felix! Obviously not an easy one to do, but really revealing stuff. Be interesting to hear what "the other bloke" had to say.

Why does she keep referring to David Cunningham as "the other bloke"? LoL

She fascinates me, has done for many years. I wish there were many more records featuring her. I love Walk On By! Thank you for this Felix.

This has to be one of the most claustrophobic interviews I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s as if she’s very uncomfortably being verbally assaulted by a psychotherapist while clearly, occasionally and uncomfortably, side-glancing the camera. Over half of the time she’s bombarded by questions about her schooling. One wonders what happened between her and Cunningham - besides the money? Considering the curtness of it, you gotta be happy that we got to hear even this much.

This is pathetic. Why is the interviewer speaking to the lovely Deborah Evans-Stickland like she is inconsequential? I was 11 in 1979 when she did 'Money' and I thought her and Debbie Harry were the coolest chicks at the time. No, it's not because both are called Deborah. You have to think back to this year and see why.

The interviewer doesn't even know Deborah Evans-Stickland was no.1 in the UK charts AND no.1 in the US chart. Listen how clueless he is. I wish Debbie corrected the idiot during this interview.

Always deal with things at the time, never put it off for a later time - it just eats away at you.
