Thank god i got the 13700k last year, i feel good seeing those results about the 14th gen, you guys can get a nice discount over the 13th gen and if you wish you can overclock them about to 200 mhz and call it 14th gen 😂

The performance differance is within silicon lottery range, generally up to 3% performance. There is a der bauer video of multiple ryzen 7600s, which he found out were up to %15 apart in terms of performance. A good 13th gen silicon could possibly be better than 14th gen counterpart, I guess.

I purchased a 13600k last week for a £100 less than smrp. I didn't expect much from the 14600k and thank god I went with my gut and grabbed that cheap 13600k -- there is literally no difference between the.

The 14600k has better IMC memory controller. On the 13600k I couldn’t run above 6400mhz DDR 5. Also it can overclock on 5.7ghz all P-cores and 4.5hhz E-cores. It’s the best of the 14th gen.

I see many games don't benefit much in max fps, but the 0.1% lows seem much better on 14th gen. Not really more power, but fewer dips in fps it seems.
EDIT: looks like in most games even this advantage isn't there.

Keep in mind this is tested with a 4090 at 1080p. If you're looking at buying these CPUs you don't have a 4090, and maybe you're even playing at 1440p. The difference was already 3fps, now it becomes a rounding error of 0.5fps.
