I spent 4 hours perfecting the technique with all my siblings and both parents switching out to give it a try, my dad was in the middle of playing a mission which respawned you in a plane in the air at the perfect moment which made it possible and I suggested it to him, and eventually most of us perfected the technique and managed to consistently land on the person driving.
