But like any human, they succumb to many illnesses that can affect their careers, and worse, their lives.

Multiple sclerosis or MS, is such a disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord and or central nervous system.

In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves.

Though some Hollywood celebrities are still able to perform and continue with their work and their daily lives, some actors move away from acting, either to take a breather or permanently retire from the dream career....

Wow I've had multiple sclerosis for 24 years and I do have bad days but I embrace all the good days I have I vow all the time not to allow myself to be a victim to multiple sclerosis and hey power of the mind after all your mind is the strongest organ in your body and I'm still standing keep positive everyone turn every negative thought into a positive one xx❤

i woke up in the morning & opened my eyes it was very dark i asked for the light to be lit & my husband told me that the son was bright 7 shining in the room but for me it was dark & stayed that ay for 3 years & now i cannot walk but i got my eye sight back MS ive just got tolive with it

I was told that there was a study suggesting that people who had had undiagnosed polio have had a high chance of having MS. I told my Doctor my Dad had polio as a child but had recovered and had even served in the military as ann andult and was wondering if that could have something to do with my MS diagnosis. He suggested I try to contact those who had done the research I had mentioned.. I have since learned there are two more studies researching the same links.

I am sorry these celebrities are going through this situation. They do not have to live with this disease. They must consume healthy diets, and essential nutrients like calcium and exercise are safe for anyone with these conditions. Make sure to get plenty of rest, stay away from negative people, stay in a healthy and safe environment, and reduce stress. I pray these suggestions will help them and others to recover from this disease.
