Celebrities Who Look Eerily Similar To People From The Past

► Hello everyone and welcome back to Mystery Scoop. Some celebrities look like people from the past and few of them are mind-melting. Time travel or reincarnation are concepts that belong more in the world of science fiction, philosophy or religious beliefs. However, after seeing photos of few celebrities compared to people from the past, one may start to question whether this is a pure coincidence or perhaps something else is at play. I've told my friends and family for years about this theory that I have regarding this: There is only so many combinations of the shape of eye's, nose and lips that can actually exist on the human face before that numerical combination repeats itself. Although decades, centuries or a milenium may come and go, these shapes can only differ in size so much before it repeats itself on the human face.

I had an old man chase me down, his face covered in tears because I looked so much like his wife that died several decades ago when their house caught fire. He invited me to his family dinner because he wanted his kids and grandkids to see what she looked like. I bet we hugged thirty times. It was a strange day but he was so nice that i couldn't say no.

When I was a student nurse I went onto a new ward, and a couple of other nurses said "have you worked on here before". I replied no. Weeks later I had to go to a different ward, and saw a nurse, and straight away I knew who they had meant. This nurse was just like me in looks, a little plumper, similar height, hair colour, everything. It was a bit weird.

I saw my doppelgänger on the subway in NYC decades ago. We looked at each other for a moment, nothing was said. A man a few feet away kept looking at since the resemblance was uncanny. When she got up to exit the train, I realized she was about 4” taller than I, but the face was identical.

The Mathew McConaughey, Nick Cage and Jimmy Fallon ones are eerie! With many of the other ones, it seems to just make sense that many features would fall into place similarly to someone else.

My sister did the Ancestry DNA things a few years ago. I didn’t look like I belonged to my family and always said so. The ancestry site found a fourth cousin on my father’s side. He sent her some photos. There’s a photo of a family, with my Dad’s grandmother as a toddler. Behind her stands her mother. You’d swear it was me! Sis calked me as soon as she got the photo. Said it gave her goosebumps. I resemble my great, great, great grandmother like a clone! Might not have the right number of greats there. It’s after midnight here and I’m tired and my brain hurts!

The most creepy is Ed Stoppard during an interview his hands mannerisms striking is very to similarities of those paintings of Richard the 3rd that shocked me.

It is possible that many of them are distantly related to those in the older photos. My grandmother strikes a likeness to George Washington, and we are distantly related. And, my father is almost the spitting image of his 8x great-grand uncle; a former college president. It is amazing how we can look so much like our ancestors or distant cousins.

I have actually had the experience of meeting the doppelgängers of several of my friends. They were SUCH look-a-likes that I didn’t know they were a different person until I actually spoke to them. It’s pretty wild

I took a caricature class at art school. The prof said that we have 7 main "markers": eyes, nose, mouth, face shape, ears, hair style and attitude. If, as caricature artists, we could capture 3 out of the 7, then our drawing would resemble the subject. I see this here. Not everything matches, but sometimes enough to be startling. On some of these it would be closer if the compliers would have found a recent photo more in the same position or action of the older photo. Like if Matt Damon had a full open mouth smile, etc.

I'm 63 and English. In my youth I had the good fortune for people to tell me I looked like various famous people - in my 20's I was told I resembled Princess Diana and used to get stopped everywhere, with strangers and colleagues telling me I was the image of Linda Gray, then in my 30's, people said I looked like Debbie Harry and Marilyn Monroe, and in my 30's and 40's, like a young Goldie Hawn!! No one says anything any more, because I'll health has aged me!! I was very lucky to be compared to attractive women in my day!!! The only 2 I thought I was like, was Diana and most of all, Linda Gray. Friends, family and colleagues all called me 'Sue-Ellen"!!!

Some of them are so identical that it's amazing! When researching my ancestry, I found a photo of one of my ancestors from the 1800's who looks just like one of my family members. It's intriguing and creepy! Thanks for the video. Very cool.

When I was 14, I was just hanging out with my friends at a park near my house and all of a sudden this random girl on a scooter came riding by with her friends and sat down near where we were sitting. It was like slow motion. Time and my heart felt like it stopped. She looked exaclty like me… like I felt like I was seeing myself outside of my own body. Our faces looked almost identical along with our hair and skin as well. She was even wearing a long sleeved neon blueish green shirt like I was!!!! I looked at my friends and I was like “ummm…do you guys see her too?” and they were already staring at her in shock. And then one of my friends was like Casey I think we just found your doppelgänger. And I was like wtf is that lol.

And then I became jealous of her because my best guy friend walked up to her and started flirting and so I told everyone I wanted to go home 😂

Now I’m 23. Haven’t ever seen her since then. But I can still remember that encounter so clearly.

I saw a British show where they got together doppelgangers who met through the internet. These people were from different countries, but when they did a deep dive on their ancestry, most had ancestors from the same region of the world, or were distant relatives.

I love this, I know I have a "twin' or several 'twins" from differnt times, and in my lifetime. I missed seeing my "twin" three times by a matter of minutes. I have alwys been fascinated by this subject. Thank you Mystery Scoop!
