I think Meta Knight stack up pretty ok to his other iterations, although hard and technical (execution wise) I think he is a very strong a d fulfilling character that is my solo main. I have a lot of faith in this character and I think you can main him(you do need a secondary for like 5 matchups) also his combo game and ladder isn't a gimmick and it's still being optimized which is always cool to see. *MK B META*

Agree with the rating, MK just needs more damage output, and maybe less endlag on his tilts and he'll be viable. Disappointed that Mew2King plays him this bad and didn't study the character. But as he said, no one plays him :(
I'm still solo-maining him since Brawl because he's the character with the best maneuverability <3

I still remembered how broken Meta Knight was in Brawl, he was still a bit too strong in Smash 4 despite being heavily nerfed. Really sad they nerfed him hard again, but he’s still not all that bad.

I personally think Meta Knight doesn’t really have that much glaring weakness to be honest like before, however, unlike Brawl where he good at everything and Smash 4 being good at many different aspect, Ultimate Meta Knight comes to the cost of having very little strength.

Overall I think Meta Knight doesn’t really have anything that truly holds him back, but has very little advantages to make him shine, which is why I think Meta Knight’s gonna be stuck at mid tier until he receive game changing buffs. Definitely not a low tier in my opinion as he wasn’t too bad in many aspects, but definitely can’t be a high tier due to his lack of game changing moves
