thanks for the help man we are working for a cantsat project grade 12 using pro micro and some group were using arduino uno and its hard for me for rduino pro micro but thanks for the help im beginner, (sorry for my bad english). fro philippines.

Followed every step, although I previous read some from Arduino. I can get the SparkFun folder up in the Boards manager & select Pro Micro. It's so buggy. I know I have an older laptop but never had so much trouble getting other arduinos, Uno, Nano, Gemma, etc. to regret purchasing this one.👎

i am student and i am doing my final year project on pro micro. After loading this program LEDs are blinking but now after connecting it back to PC(i want to load program for project) it is showing "USB driver not recognized". Please help me

You can tell Pro Micros arent official as they are plagued with a few fatal(literally) issues. The first being the stability of the firmware and how you will occasionally need to reburn it in order to unbrick your arduino. And also how it will randomly (and permanently) stop responding to input (as a joystick for example) for no reason and there's no way to fix it. Even the example sketches eventually stop working. Seriously, what is wrong with these things?
