The bit starting from 0:44 with the music and the guys stepping out of the office drawingbtheir guns is just iconic IMO. So comic book noire.

I love how Gotham looks like it’s rotting from the inside out. I’d imagine the word sanitary is not in the Gotham dictionary.

I'm torn, I love this scene, it's one of the most 'batman' scenes in any batman movie. The thing I don't like about it is I find it hard to believe that joker would survive the acid vat fall, and I don't really like Eckhardt's death, the way he just kinda flops against a wall and then deflates like a deviantart character just doesn't really do it for me. So what if instead of that, what we see here is; Police vs Gangsters -> Confrontation with joker -> Ricochet bullet hits a pipe that sprays chemistry all over Joker -> Gordon Held Hostage -> Jokers escape -> Cut to Eckhardt sneaking away -> Joker pushes Eckhardt out of the way while fleeing and Eckhardt falls in an orange vat. Then the movie proceeds the same way it does in reality. After the credits scene: Eckhardt figuring out he can change his size and shape as he realizes he is becoming Clayface. Then clayface seen in a later movie.

2:35 🤔 I always thought that the guy shouted "Go That Way", but he said "Charlie".
