Fun fact, this was filmed at the same decommissioned coal PowerPoint that they filmed the hive scene from Aliens.

"Into the air, junior birdman!"
Now thats some unintentional foreshadowing right there

The music really elevates this whole sequence. Absolutely brilliant. Still looks incredible.

The way that the car rawrs through the explosion and debrees, is just so beautiful and complete. A perfect shape in motion surrounded by chaos

Batman wasn’t messing around here. Love the score to this especially after he dropped the bomb.

Batmobile Autopilot: "Deploy machine guns, grenades, rockets, napalm, bring the roof down on these mfrs"

This must suck for people whose mantra is "Batman doesn't kill."

And thus by making the Batmobile a character in itself, they made it became an integral and indistinguishable part of Batman.

0:55 - Batman doesn't kill. The Batmobile however, will kill everything it can, from Batman 89 to BvS

People don't realize that this is the single most important movie in comic book film history because if this movie had not been a success I don't know if we would have the comicbookmovie success that we have today because up until this film The only comicbookmovie to ever actually make money was the original Superman in 1978.. that's why the studios had to attach big-name stars to these films like Jack Nicholson and Marlon Brando because the film companies didn't believe it they had a chance of ever making any money... I remember standing in line as a kid to watch this movie for over four hours when the line was wrapped around the theater twice in 1989, Tim Burton's soon to be legendary gothic film style, Elfman's epic score...Keaton
/Nicholson legendary performances...STILL MY FAVORITE BATMAN....
