I love how instead of being angry he's just jealous of Batman's arsenal.

Kills a room filled with over a dozen people, comes in starts dancing to Prince music and vandalizing all the art in the room.
This is the Joker.

The way Joker shift from being goofy to intimidating is masterful

I love how Joker has a goon to just walk around with a boom box for his own soundtrack. This kind of stuff needs to be in modern adaptations of the joker

I love how Jokers gang genuinely look like they're enjoying themselves. He must be a fun boss.

Before he kills you, I mean.

I will never forget that line so masterfully delivered by Jack "do i look like i'm joking"

The best thing about the Joker, is that even out of context this makes sense.

funny line nobody notices 3:56 "I was in the bath one day when I realized I was destined for greatness" as in his chemical bath at the beginning of the movie

I love Nicholson's Joker. He's sinister with a wicked sense of humor.

I love how joker's men are always smiling and actually look like they're enjoying working for the joker while other jokers have their henchmen work for him out of fear.

And I love how joker has a guy who's one job is to follow him around with a boom box, if you pay attention he made more than one appearance.

Seeing Jack Nicholson fully embrace being a goofy cornball going up to Vicki is one of the best parts in a movie filled with best parts.

I can't get over how hilarious the Joker's "I'm melting" prank was. It's almost as if he did it just to say " what did you hope to accomplish by throwing water at me?"

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?" Great line!

6:30 - me, seeing it as a kid: 'Such a cool scene'. Me, seeing it 25 years later: 'Such a cool scene!'

To be fair this Batman film has the charm of the 60s series and the spookiness of the 90s.

I love that Prince’s music is something that’s actually *IN* the movie, playing on Joker’s boom box.

When I was younger, I focused a lot more on the humor (subtle and otherwise), but re-watching these scenes - wow, I didn't realize in 1989 how dark this all was. Behind the charm and playfulness of this Joker is a cold-blooded killer and a sociopath.

Those Batman glass ceiling entrances are always superb even back in 1989
