If you dont now what to draw use a small box or something to store. Take a pice of paper, cut them in smaller papers, fold them and write on them things to draw for instace:car, book, stool, flower, lamp, dog, perspective etc...For me if i dont know what to draw i just draw lines, circles, cubes and so on...sometimes clicks and sometimes dosen't.

The worm pit from the King Kong movie scared me so bad as a kid! Now I look back and fawn over the effects and creature design of the whole thing. Another worm creature that scared me were the worms of Tremors! Cool guys once you take a closer look

I'm sketching along trying to get my portrait proportions and eye placement figured out. Lol, faces are hard! You can forgive the eyes of a creature being off, but if a human eye is off by even a squidge something looks horribly, horribly wrong.😂

I usually draw small and try to fill an A4 page as much as I can so because I draw small then yeah even the tiniest lint can mess up everything!
btw loved that scene with the bugs in King Kong! I love that kind of gore and stuff! Actually I find it more comfortable to watch when monsters are involved than when the gore is being performed by humans. Cause humans doing evil stuff is based on intent and animals doing evil stuff is based on instinct so it's less shocking in a way.

The face on this one, reminds me of an angler fish.

Right now I’m doing a Portrait of a Goat in Pentel Fine Black Ballpoint Pen (those with transparent casing, that look like gel pen at first glance) And it almost comes out looking like a pencil drawing. My first take on Pentel Ballpoint and it’s really cool.

Also did something along the lines of yours in my small sketchbook and ended up with a mix of wild boar, croc and a little dinosaur topping in form of some spiky bits in its face and down the spine and it got a mace-like tail.
