I genuinely think it’s impossible to play through a full round of Monopoly and enjoy it. Though I never could, I will say there’s a TON of unique versions of the game, many of which I talk about in this video!

Actually cheater's monopoly is quite unique. You can only cheat in specific ways as listed on your card and if no one pick you up on your cheating, you have to announce it and then collect a reward. If you are caught, you get a handcuff put on you and placed near the jail space

Cheater's edition actually slaps, but it causes like 10 times the arguments bc the point is to cheat during one person's turn and not get found out until their turn ends so you can announce that you cheated and get rewards. However since 90% of the cheats involve letting you keep shit you stole from the board/ other people, it does wild shit to everyones brains and turns them into the most corrupt version of themselves. Some people become suspicious and tyrannical, accusing others at every too- quick hand movement . Others quietly make pacts to ignore each others cheating so they can both commit their respective crimes in peace. No matter what though, there's always at least one squabbling match every few turns. One time my brother stole the entire bank as a joke, but we were all so busy squabbling/ accusing each other we didn't notice and he got away with it. Anyway, he was declared winner of cheat monopoly forever and we meme on it all the time. All that to say, its really good but will change how you see everyone in your life forever if you play it with them.

Loved the video, but I just wanted to say that Fortnite Monopoly actually plays really different from the regular game! It mainly uses the Monopoly name as a base for its’ board and general rules like dice and the card systems. It could honestly pass as Fortnite: The Board Game. It’s similar to Game of Life: Mario Party addition, where the only thing shared between both versions is the spinner. I’d recommend both if anyone finds an interest in either.

I always think of what I call the "Small Town Editions". My tiny US town is in the middle of nowhere. If I named it, none of you would recognize it. Yet somehow, someway, we have our own Monopoly at the local Wal-Mart. It's even got our town slogan on the cover. XD

it's so cool to see a video on this! my family collects the most strange and unconventional versions of monopoly, once we discovered that there was so many we couldn't resist 😂

most of them are pretty fun spin offs and are usually much shorter than the standard game, so if you want a quick game they're pretty cool!

There’s also Target monopoly (like the brand and you get cute little red shopping baskets) and Animal crossing which play differently than the base game. There’s also Overwatch which I liked for the collectibles. A ton of anime themed ones, but my favorite, most aesthetic board is the $400 luxury matte black with drawers from pottery barn. Same game, but just looks beautiful. If I have the means, I’m definitely buying it at some point in my life. There’s so many types, including 3D builder, the old and retired electronic banking (not to be confused with the new super electronic banking), all the city ones like san francisco-opoly, the secret vault, millionaire (where it’s the same but it’s basically larger notes), M E G A, fall guys, and a ton more licensed ones.

There’s actually an unoffical longest game of monopoly on tabletop sim with a bunch of different rules, 2 boards with 4 rounds of properties each to go through, a jail board, and so many convoluted rules.

On that note, I’m gonna hunt down an emo board to add to my collection.

My favorite version was the one on Wii that had a bunch of modes. One was different countries, another was cheeses, and one was chocolates/candy. It was honestly really fun.
