I took care of old German man . His wife covered him in the most beautiful blankets and sweaters. Turns out she made them all and her daughter told me her mom was in charge of sewing and quilting committee. And ran crochet and knitting clubs.

My German Mom was much more chilled but she could crochet beautiful blankets and clothes. She had a knitting machine in her room in the basement and she made fabulous dresses got us and heavy winter long cardigans..more like a coats really! She loved to watch comedies on TV never anything with any violence, as she had gone through WW2 and. She had seen enough violence in her life, she cannot see anything with violence in it..I get it completely/. She loved to read. That accent...just like my Mom....lol!
