Fantastic result! You make it look sooo easy. I'm a gel press novice, amassing wads of less than attractive 'collage' sheets, but learning from and having fun while doing so. Image transfers have been a passion (or obsession) of mine for many years and I was chuffed to bits to discover that these can be done on the gel plate! Your above technique opened my mind: you simplified what I thought was a much more complicated process. You made it 'make sense' to me! Thank you.🤩

Hi Jessica, thank you for providing these short clips, , , I already have a work flow that works, (mat & framed in a few shows) they create conversations, confusion to folks that try to understand what they are looking at (this was one of my goals), how it was painted, or is it a print? no it can not be that is a water color brush strokes, , , wait there's acrylic paint, , , these are printed on heavy textured water color papers, , , of course there is not an original that has real texture, just all tricks to make it look as painted, I use my own creations from many digital images, maybe up to 10 overlays or sections of, , I had not achieved what I have in my head, , Im missing an original on my textured water color paper with my edited concept art created on of course my computer with a long and mixed workflow over the past 10 years I have perfected, , EXCEPT FOR!!! what is now in my head that I immediately saw when I watch the appropriate "gel plate methode, I have found only a few people working the method that Iam sure will provide my finished goal, , , your method will lead me into the end result I have been looking for that will set my final up providing an original that has my conceptional image lightly transferred onto my final where I will follow my transfered originals colors lineages, figures with true mixed media giving me my hand painted (paint by numbers to word the medtid in cheap terms just to help understand what and how I want to create the hundreds ready to go just as soon as I found gel transfering, , , I understand I will have issues to work out as the transfer will most likely be weak, , , , but I will have a print for reference and what ever transfers will be my guides.. I HOPE! WHY IAM contacting you again is Iam ready to purchase a gel, , and need your assistance in knowing what to choose for the whole process I just described to 1st could you basically choose or advise rather what gel plate I will need, appropert? Thanks for video. Just two tips: you can use the same laser printout for more than one transfer (I did 5). Also: instead of normal 20lbs copy paper if you use 32lbs, the printout is much better and no need for double printing

Omg I could not figure out why my last set of laser prin6s wouldn't transfer. I think they got saved as RGB! You are the first artist I've ever heard mention CMYK or halftone, which makes sense se.
