Yes I was diagnosed with Angina 2 years ago . Changed my eating habits to healthy eating . Exercising to a limit of course . Drink plenty of water !!! It does make a big difference when you change alot in your life . Same for me as I have read others comments on here . Some days are good and some not so good. It's been a good while that I haven't had a bad day until yesterday . So just resting and taking it easy today. Thanks for the information...because sometimes we can forget and need a refreshing of Angina. Everyone take good care of yourselves.

Thank you, very useful to understand the symptoms of Angina. I think I disturbed the road works when I overdid my cardio workouts in the swimming pool. The road work seems to be disturbed and now I am going through some tests.

I have exactly what you speak of...an ache, or muscular type pain when upon exertion. Thanks. Just hope exercises will not cause heart attack

So then what is chest discomfort at rest?

What is a sharp, nagging pain in the centre of the chest, SIMULTANEOUS with a pain in my right little finger? Both pains feel like the 'same' pain.

Tell me, what happens after half a mile walk that wouldn't happen in 100 metres? Surely it wouldn't get harder and harder on the myocardium? Extra blood supply wouldn't be needed after 1, 000mtrs, would it?

Hi Dr spoke to you before. I had ectopic beats went to my local Dr and she more or less said nothing to worry about. Been having them again the past few days after nothing for months. But after revisiting your videos my mind's at ease. It's not often someone of your expertise posts videos and answers questions. It means a lot and makes a massive difference to a lot of people. I used to hate looking at anything heart related after having SVT years ago and getting 3 ablations which thankfully helped. Seeing your videos is a great education. At that time i had an Echo Stress Test and Holter Monitor which all registered normal i was 28-29 now 31 and from time to time been a few months since the last ones i get a lot of ectopics while at rest a lot in a row but i never feel faint or sick etc. So considering a few years ago my Cardiologist told me you will die with them not from them. Do you think the frequency of them matters and would they do any structural damage? Thanks.

Dr Gupta, I really enjoy your videos. I respect your knowledge, and would like to know what you would class as a "Self assesment" of heart health and a self angina test. What would be best to check if our hearts are working good at peak? Thankyou keep the videos up!

You're an awesome Human being on top of a good cardiologist. I spent thousands on appointments with cardiologists here just to get to know whether or not my Father should recieve stent to to cop up with coronary artery deases. I ended up with stent treatment. He's about 58 now physically fit enough to perform routine life activities except for a little obesity. What can I do to maintain his health after having recieved stents Dr?

I get a stabbing pain in upper chest for a few seconds at a time. I get left arm pain and jaw pain also. This is not with exertion. Have had egg, echo, stress test, chest x-ray...all come back good. My gp says I'm too young and skinny to have angina. But when I ask why I have these symptoms they don't know. What test can I get to rule out angina (stable and unstable)?

tnx doc for this vid this helps me allot, im having some weird pressure in my chest 1hr after eating while just at rest, i worried that this could be angina, so i did some experiment after i eat ill wait for the chest pressure and run on a treadmill for 10 mins, and suprisingly the chest pressure is gone and did not get worst, i also consult my cardio and did some ecg and echo test to clear my mind and anxiety, luckily results are normal
